Looking out over the dunes of Egypt at the Pyramids of Giza stands a rather large man. He looks up at them in awe. Dressed in stereotypical tourist clothing a Pyramids t-shirt and Khaki shorts his brown hair blows in the wind. He raises his camera up to take a picture.
As he is distracted looking up a Scarab scuttles its way across the sand. On its back a small emerald glints stuck in its wing's shell. The man is oblivious to the large insect until it runs across his sandal clad foot, he is quite surprised.

Clement walked home from shops having bought groceries for his household. He wasn't one for human interaction, meaning that he never liked to be out of the house for longer that was entirely necessary, like college, work and restocking. He did however decide to go into a book story that he passed and picked up a book that caught his eye, though he had no idea why because there was nothing obviously interesting about it. The girl at the desk was intrigued by his choice and glad to be final rid of that book, but he wasn't listening. Peter typed slowly, one finger moving on the keyboard at a time. He was careful to examine each keystroke he made, making sure nothing was out of place; he couldn't shake the feeling that everything would work out right if he could just type up the document right; that things would go his way once if he could just express his emotions perfectly. Anyone who said it was the thought that counted hadn't been rejected by every girl they'd written something to.
